The Power-MAX HD is the first weighted harness designed to move as your dog moves, enabling it to be to worn for virtually any workout. This versatile harness has been expertly designed to be used with or without weight.
This harness is specifically designed to promote free and unrestricted shoulder movement. With its ergonomic front shoulder straps, it evenly distributes pressure across the dog's body and allows for unhindered breathing. This is crucial for intense training sessions.
The outer layer is constructed from rugged 1200D PU coated polyester fabric. This high-density fabric is strong, durable and water-resistant making it ideal for rigorous training sessions in all weather conditions. We added waterproof YKK auto-locking zippers throughout the harness pockets and pouches and have four reliable quick-release buckles for easy on-off. We even added a permanent heavy duty webbing loop to attach a light beacon (not included) for training during night.
SIZING:
This harness is 5-way adjustable. You can adjust both straps around the rib cage, both front shoulder straps as well as the strap under the dog’s sternum. To ensure a proper fit, it’s important to be patient and take your time during the sizing process. We recommend removing the weight pouches during the sizing process. We know you’re excited to get to work, but trust us, it’s worth the few extra minutes to get this right.
IMPORTANT: Measure twice, order once.

WHY USE A WEIGHTED HARNESS?
Exercising with a weighted harness forces all of your dogs muscles to work together to provide a more intense, full-body workout. When used correctly, a weighted harness can help improve your dog's overall body composition.
HOW TO USE A WEIGHTED HARNESS?
Less is more; especially in the beginning. Start off slowly and gradually work your way up to more weight as your dog’s strength and conditioning improves. It can be used during any normal exercises as well as normal activities during daily life. We do not recommend high intensity exercises while wearing the weighted harness. Sprinting, jumping and fast turning movements are not necessary and increase risk of injury. Simple hand walking, jogging and treadmill work are our favorite ways to use the weighted harness.
To start, aim for 5 - 6% of your dogs body weight and gradually build up to 8-10% over time.
CLEANING:
We recommend simple spot cleaning with mild dish soap and a damp cloth. We do not recommend putting it in the washing machine. It’s a working dog harness after all, and a little dirt and slobber gives it character!
